A conversation yesterday in the car traveling to my grandmothers:
The Dad: I think I'm going to start a blog.
Me: Really! (I'd been encouraging this)
The Dad: Yeah, I'm going to call it ... Notes to my Daughters.
Me: Silence. Pause. Laughs hard.
The Dad: And, it's going to be really honest and ...
Me: I don't like it.

The only way anyone could get my husband to write (or read) a blog would be to pay him a lot of money.
