As I have many other mothers before you, let me reassure you that you are neither the first nor the last potty training failure, and furthermore, your daughters will not arrive at their college dorms wearing pampers. It will happen. I promise. They're just not ready yet.
Son #1 trained at 42 months.
Son #2 trained at almost 38 months.
It will happen!
While my kids learned to use the potty fast and efficiently, be reasurred that this process had little to nothing to do with me. Look at it this way...if they don't know how to use the potty, they will always make curfew when out on a date...LOL Walk away from the process for awhile...I assure they will get it when they are ready
We are also failing here. We had 4 accidents in less than an hour on Saturday. Even our day care says they are not ready!
Oh boy - I'm almost at that stage and dreading it. And I'm so tired of hearing from my mother that she had all three of us trained by age 2!
we still have accidents at 3... my daughter was all done at 2 and a half, but she wet at night till she was about 7. So you just never know... hang in there.
Aww, I'm sure it'll happen.
this makes me laugh because I too am a failure. and I'm too tired to care anymore!!!
