Our Mama's Lazy ... and crazy

Yes, it's true. She hates snow that much that she brought it inside to us:

But, she's not cruel. Despite not being prepared, despite not having any winter gear, despite the freezing cold, she did give us one thing today: Our first snow-playing experience.

We will say, though, that she looked very tired, and frazzled afterward. We didn't thank her, per say, but we did play nicely inside for a solid 30 minutes while she fixed dinner.

Ohhhh girls! Grammie here!
LOL! I loved this blog! Grammie absolutely LOVES snow. When I come up (if you still have snow) I will take you outside and we will play in it!

Shawn, you are too much! Leave it to you to be resourceful even when it snows!!! :)

Love you all!

He he, they look like they don't really know what to make of it yet! We're coming up north in a few weeks and I'm hoping they'll be some for the boys to play in (with their dad, of course cuz I probably like snow less than you do!)

Lazy you say?
I call it inventiveness and pure genius.
As Leo said to me this week, while playing outside in the first snow of the winter, "I really like the snow. Except the cold and windy part."

I would like to come see your snow! I have never seen real snow. Throw a snowball for me next time your girls talk you into going outside!

Candace: Thank you for your note. You just showed me another reason to be grateful today -- one I never thought I would need to be grateful for. Hmpfh.

Shannon: How much less?

Bella: I think you called me genius, though I'm not sure. If so, I love you. Thank you for turning my lemons into lemonade.

Crazy like a fox! I like any idea that keeps kids occupied for 30 minutes and does not require bundling up to go out in the cold!

It is ok, this little "Alberta clipper," took us by surprise. I sent my daughter to day care in a skirt (with tights) and they took them outside to play in the snow! I was kicking myself...she didn't care...but I was kicking myself.

Guess we better go purchase some snow boots...
;)

Your girls are too cute!

So adorable!! I'll send some of our sunshinie your way and you can send some of your snow my way. My babies will never know what snow is as long as we're living in Vegas. I love the mittens. =)
