GiGi in Georgie

Dear Girls,

You had a blast with your grandmother this past weekend. She did what grandmothers are known for doing, hugging and kissing you a lot and helping to send all the rules out the windows.

From the second she arrived, you were by her side.

My parents live in California. We are in Indiana. But, my parents have managed to carve out so many traditions with my kids that even my two year old know the joy of grandparents.

This was so sweet.
Leo does the same thing, talking about my parents as if they could just stop by for dinner if he invited them. :)

I'm sure, besides a new name, "GiGi" went home with a full heart and lots of wonderful memories, too!

I'm happy for you Shawn, because I know. Did the girls name her Gigi?
I have a little girl with that nickname.

I love the naming of grandparents. My parents follow your rules as well- "Well be whatever she comes up with." As a result, my mom has been "Ama", "Ammy" and now "Grammy". What a great visit from your family- sounds wonderful!
