You've got double trouble!?

Since this is singlehandedly the No. 1 comment/question I receive as a Mama of twins (I am not alone, I know) I just thought I'd share that I do finally understand why this is uttered so very much.

Because after three days and two illnesses with one child ... I think we're about to do it again, with the other.

Stay tuned. I may need a blogging break this week. I'm sorry. I have a VERY NEW AMAZING, WONDERFUL deadline due along with two others this week and I'm sleep deprived.

Someone send me coffee. Please!

And, chocolate.

Thank you for visiting today.

It's a double blessing.... Repeat after me... (especially on those days when you want to run out of the room screaming).

I hope the illness goes through your house quickly!

That is always my fear, that the disease of one will spread around our family. Usually it works so that all the kids are sick, one after the other. Not at the same time, but in such a way as to prolong it as long as possible. Then the husband gets it and he is near deaths door (sarcasm) and I stay healthy the whole time, yet have to deal with all the sickos. I hope you can get your writing done.

Hugs, Shawn! I really hate viruses. Those poor babies -- and poor you. Lots of chocolate and coffee for you. BTW, and this is no joke, high quality dark chocolate is good medicine for both coughing and diarrhea. Use it wisely.

Oh, I'm so sorry.
Chocolate, coffee, shots of tequila, and love being sent your way.
Whatever it takes to get through this, do it!

I'm so sorry to hear they are both sick! When my boys get sick, I always pray it happens at the same time so that it is over quickly, for them and for us.

Oh Shawn!! I am so, so sorry that you all have been going through the yuckies. It's not fun or fair because Mommas don't get sick days off.
Sending prayers, good thoughts, and Hugs your way.
